Graffiti artiste, LA Lewis, was arrested by the police for driving a motor vehicle without a driver’s licence earlier this week.
Lewis, popularly known as the ‘Seven Star General’, was pulled over by the police for reportedly failing to obey instructions that were given by law enforcers along Hagley Park Road in St Andrew.
A video of the incident that has been circulating on social media shows Lewis speaking about the traffic situation on the busy thoroughfare, and how he felt road works along the stretch of road were contributing to the traffic problems.
But while using his phone to video and highlight his concerns, declare bias among the police on traffic duty, lambasting the Chinese road work contractors, and squeezing in a plug for himself as potentially ‘the next prime minister of Jamaica’, Lewis was arrested and carted away after he failed to produce a driver’s licence when the document was requested by the officers.
