Popcaan jokingly trolled Meek Mill on social media over the weekend.
The Philly rapper uploaded a photo from Roc Nation’s Pre-Grammy Brunch and quoted a line from his new song “Going Bad” with Drake.
“I graduated to big fish 🐠 🤞🏾🏆,” Milly wrote. However Popcaan who is known for his ‘Y’ slang which highlights double entendre statements rushed in the comments.
“Yyyyyyy trouble,” Popcaan wrote while laughing. The Dancehall deejay also told the Dancehall fan who tagged him in the post deserved an ‘Y’ also.
Popcaan and Meek Mill linked up in Jamaica earlier this month at Chukka Caribbean Adventures.
According to sources close to the entertainers, they visited Blue Hole, before travelling to Kingston. Popcaan reportedly gave Milly a tour of the Gaza block in Waterford Portmore and even took him to his mansion in Cherry Gardens and the community where he grew up in St. Thomas.
The “Family” deejay made sure the Dreamchasers rapper had the time of his life and rolled out his motorcycle crew because the two are about the bike life.
“Drake made the link because you know he and Meek are friends again and Popcaan is family so the whole vibe was good man,” sources said. “The best part of the link up was taking Meek to the river and showing him a different side of Jamaica because Americans are told that Jamaica is a dangerous place and they shouldn’t go anywhere. When he realized that was not the case it was a breath of fresh air.”
Incarcerated Dancehall deejay Vybz Kartel also co-signed the unity, “Havent seen kings link up like this since mansa musa’s pilgrimage,” he wrote on Instagram.
