The Constant Spring police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a fetus, that was thrown away at a section of Constant Spring, on Friday September 27.
Reports by the Constant Spring police are that about 11:40 a.m., a resident stumbled upon the fetus which was in a black plastic bag, and summoned the police.
Upon the arrival of the lawmen, the fetus was found wrapped in a towel in the plastic bag.
The scene was processed and the fetus removed to the morgue. In the meanwhile, investigators say the gender of the fetus is not yet known.
